This is how a Top Gear test ended: with a crashed GT-R. And this is indeed the same car that the Stig tested on the Top Gear test track.
Apparently, the driver of the Audi R8 following this Nissan GT-R could not stop in time and ran into the back of it. All this happened while shooting for an upcoming Top Gear Magazine issue on the Isle of Man.

The crash happened in Qatar and the owner of the car was only 22 years old (I say was cause just by looking at the car you can imagine he didn’t survive). He was driving extremely and he lost control of his car. The result... what you see in the images.

Even a sports car like Ferrari California needs to pass a crash test. But when you see a ca like it in such a condition, you just feel bad!
Crash test includes front, rear and side impact. California passed them all without hesitation.
A very interesting thing is that on the Chinese market, California will be equipped with start-stop system, which helps toreduce consumption and emissions.
Well it had to happen, but we’re sorry for this guy who had to be the first one to crash a Maserati GranTurismo (at least the first one we know about).
The accident happened on a quiet country road in Cumberland, Ontario, Canada where the exotic car crash into a SUV. Ouch!

Volvo has declared war on the fatal auto accident. The safety minded company has announced that by 2010 no one should be killed in a Volvo. "We don’t accept that people lose their lives in airplane accidents, so why should we regard car accidents as inevitable?" says Jan Ivarsson, head of Safety Strategy at the Volvo Car Corporation.
Volvo’s cars already work well to help a driver survive an accident, and now the focus is shifting more toward avoiding any accident. Systems in development to help aid this lofty goal include:
An alarm to awaken drowsy drivers.
Automatically braking for pedestrians in the road
A network that talks to cars about road conditions
Automatically steering away from oncoming cars

Every week, we bring you pictures and videos of new cars taking a beating by inattentive drivers, buildings collapsing, drunken driving and sinking ships. Those incidents can be blamed on humans or mechanical failures but not this one.
A major hailstorm over the course of the last weekend harmed up to 30,000 brand new Volkswagen cars awaiting delivery to domestic and foreign customers. Little or nothing could be done by the staff at the VW assembly plant at Emden on the North Sea coast, as the number of vehicles were gigantic, and driving them or transporting them to a safe location was out of question.
Though VW declined to comment on the estimate of the damages, a German press report confirms it would be hundreds of million of dollars.
The affected vehicles will be put under the scanner and will be inspected closely by 100 VW staff members. By sending the vehicle through a special light tunnel, even the smallest of damages can be detected.
VW is insured against hail damages, so the manufacturer won’t be bothered much by this accident. Pain will only be felt by customers, who now have to wait for a longer time to drive home their new cars.
To ensure this kind of devastation never occurs again, Topspeed suggests that the Distronic plus system found on the Mercedes S-Class which applies the brakes automatically when it detects an object at a close proximity, should be installed on the roof of the truck’s cabin, facing upward. G
Our friend Gregg at WreckedExotics, just sent us some pictures and a video taken on the set of a video commercial where a Pontiac GTO is wrecked whole landing in the street of San Francisco... Bullit style!
We have no idea yet who is behind all this but the poor GTO certainly made its last jump. The video shows how both stunt men can barely control their car after the landing. Let’s just hope it is not a Prius commercial showing the death of the V8!
